The Lifeline Rescue mobile app can be used whenever there is a need to contact Lifeline Rescue for an ambulance and an emergency quick response. When a person is experiencing a medical emergency, he gets his mobile phone, opens the app and presses the emergency button. The app immediately sends the person’s information, to a central server where a Lifeline dispatcher receives the data and dispatches an ambulance. Apart from sending data wirelessly, the app simultaneously and automatically calls the Lifeline Rescue hotline number, thus allowing the person who needs the ambulance to speak directly with Lifeline personnel.
The app can also be used to arrange for any of the following non-emergency services of Lifeline: ambulance transfers, doctor-on-call, diagnostics-on-call and driver-on-call. It is integrated with a secure payment gateway to pay for memberships, renewals and services.
